Essential Oils

Aromatherapy has been around for thousands of years, essential oils have many medicinal properties and can be used to improve your health and wellbeing. Essential oils are extracted from the roots, leaves, seeds or blossoms of herbs, bushes, shrubs and trees.

They are commonly used to aid relaxation, enable sleep and lift moods. On a physical level they can improve circulation, ease joint and muscle pain and aid healing through their antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Methods of using essential oils

Everyday Essential Oil Starter Kit

These oils would be a great way to start your collection.

Grapeseed carrier oil-anti-inflammatory, beneficial for all skin types.

Bergamot essential oil-uplifting, balancing, alleviates stress and analgesic.

Lavender essential oil- calming, relaxing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic with excellent regenerative properties. Use for normal, dry, oily, sensitive skin (in low amounts), combination and mature skin.

Rosemary essential oil- is invigorating and stimulating. Use for congested, combination and oily skin.

Lemongrass essential oil-Good for digestion, helps with muscles and tendons, heals colds and flu.

Tea tree essential oil- is stimulating, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Use for acne and oily skin and the feet.
